As shooting gets dearer every year clubs are looking at ways
to keep cost down so they don't have to pass it on to you the shooters. Apart
from the normal cost that you would thing of ie water, electric and insurance
one big cost is waste and how to get rid of it. It can cost up to £2000 plus a
year to get it uplifted. So some of the clubs in Northern Ireland have come up
with this policy " shooter take home policy" what it means is you the
shooter take all your waste home with you, it lets your club have that extra to
spend on the ground.
So what do you think of this can work over here or are we
all to bloody lazy to bother and are willing to pay for it to get uplifted.
So go on have your say.

shouldnt be a prob surely to take your rubbish home, also if it means more funds for the club no matter how little ,,its worth remembering that the club belongs to the shooters/members not the committee, so we are all responsible for its future
Agree with you Alex ( my God did I just say that !!). Surely no problem for each & every shooter to take away a couple of carrier bags of waste ketridges etc after a shoot. I would happy to do my share if the weather ever gets good enough for me to venture South of e' Ord.
